Video Marketing Made Simple for Real Estate

Using video marketing can help you stand out from the competition, connect with potential buyers and sellers, and ultimately sell more homes.

Here’s how to use videos from your Carolina House Shots portal on Facebook. Before we dive in, let’s quickly go over the two main types of video formats you can use.

Video Formats for Facebook

Native Videos

A native video is uploaded directly to Facebook (in formats like .mp4 or .mov) and plays automatically in people’s feeds. This creates a smooth and engaging experience for viewers and is the most effective option for Facebook.

Video Links

You can also share video links from platforms like YouTube or Vimeo. Simply paste the link into a Facebook post, and it will show a thumbnail with a play button. However, when someone clicks it, they’re redirected to another site, which can be less engaging.

Pro Tip: Native videos are better for grabbing attention and keeping viewers engaged because they play right in the Facebook feed—no extra clicks or redirects!
